Professor Nick Kuipers has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Indonesia during the 2026–27 academic year while on leave from Princeton. As a Fulbright Scholar, Kuipers will be affiliated with Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, where he will collaborate with local faculty and graduate students and engage more broadly with the university’s academic community. During his time in Indonesia, he will advance his research on the relationship between digital media, civil society, and political polarization, deepening his scholarship in these areas.
