Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence, and Cornel West, Class of 1943 Professor of Religion and African-American Studies emeritus, have been named Distinguished Scholars of Civil Discourse by the National Humanities Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The honor was conferred by the Center’s president, Dr. Blair Kelley.
