Amy Gutmann to become next US ambassador to Germany

President Biden has selected Amy Gutmann, professor emeritus (Politics & UCHV) and the president of the University of Pennsylvania, to serve as the next ambassador to Germany.

Gutmann will be the first woman to serve in that post.
