Amaney Jamal, dean of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, the Edwards S. Sanford Professor of Politics, and professor of politics and international affairs, has been awarded the 2024 Susanne Hoeber Rudolph Outstanding Scholar Award by the Religion and Politics section of the American Political Science Association. This Award recognizes a scholar who has made outstanding contributions to the field of religion and politics. These contributions are through a combination of excellent and widely influential scholarship, policy input/impact, public engagement, service, teaching, and mentorship.
