Konrat is a PhD student in Comparative Politics at Princeton. His research focuses on the relationships between historical memory, collective memory, and right-wing extremism in Central and Eastern Europe. He is particularly interested in utilizing natural language processing to understand how extremist groups evoke certain collective memories to mobilize their supporters online.
Prior to coming to Princeton, Konrat worked as a research associate at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik in Berlin. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Michigan, and an M.A. in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.
