
I am an associate professor in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. My research and teaching interests are in American political institutions, with a particular focus on judicial politics and the politics of Supreme Court nominations and confirmations. My research has been published in the American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the Journal of Law, Economics & Organization, the Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, and Political Research Quarterly. I received my B.A. (2000) from Georgetown University and my M.A. (2004) and Ph.D. (2009) from Columbia University.
