Jeffrey is the IT Manager for the Politics Department, where he provides end-user support, website development, web applications, and IT consulting to meet the department’s teaching, learning, and research needs. He joined the university’s Office of Information Technology in 2015 and transitioned to the Politics Department in 2017.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Northern Michigan University and a Doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University. Jeffrey is certified in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and as an Apple Certified Support Professional. His doctoral dissertation examined how higher education institutions can move beyond compliance to embed proactive digital accessibility practices into teaching, instructional design, and administrative processes.

Jeffrey has written and presented at conferences on topics including accessibility, LGBTQ+ considerations in IT, AI in education, Universal Design for Learning, and the importance of communities for practice in Higher Education IT. An active volunteer with The Seeing Eye, he raises and works with puppies in their development program, preparing them for future guide dog work.
