Ivan Tubio is a PhD student in Politics. His research interests lie at the intersection between political economy and political behavior. In particular, his research focuses on the political economy of inequality, redistribution and tax evasion.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Ivan obtained an MPhil in Politics (Comparative Government) from the University of Oxford and a Dual Bachelor in International Studies and Political Science from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has previously worked as a research assistant at Imperial College Business School, at the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (Sciences Po Paris) and as a JAE Intro scholar at the Institute for Economic Analysis (CSIC, BSE). He has also been a teaching assistant (tutor) in Comparative Political Economy at Keble College (University of Oxford). Outside academia, he worked as an intern in the Office of the Secretary of State for the European Union (Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and served as an EU Careers Student Ambassador at UC3M-European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO).
