Dongxian Jiang is a PhD candidate in political theory, with a focus on comparative political theory, history of modern political thought, and contemporary liberal theory. He is writing a dissertation defending civil and political rights in the Chinese context. Before coming to Princeton University, Jiang completed an MA in political theory at Duke University and Bachelor’s degrees in International Politics and Philosophy at Peking University.
