I am Anubhav Jha, a Postdoctoral Associate in the Formal Theory and Quantitative Methods group. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics, UBC.
My research lies in Political Economy. In particular, I study political rallies from a strategic perspective, latent effects of interest group advertising in U.S. House elections, whether social media ads can improve socio-economic outcomes and the allocation of government portfolios in parliamentary democracies. I develop new Structural Models to study these topics in depth.
