Zach Yiannias completed his BA in Political Science, History, and Environmental Science at Rice University. His work on the pandemic and school board elections has been published in State Politics & Policy Quarterly. Zach’s research focuses on how politicians engage and appeal to rural voters, as well as the role of local factors such as geography and economic contexts in shaping rural attitudes.
