How do we explain cooperation and conflict among nation-states in the international system? What role do non-state actors play in shaping global agendas? What is the future of international cooperation and global public policy? These are the questions that we will explore in the context of a number of different issue-areas (e.g. economics, environmental, national security). Drawing upon different theoretical approaches, both quantitative and qualitative, we will analyze research in the field of global public policy in an effort to improve our own work in this general field.
