Charlotte Fitzek is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Politics, Princeton University. Her main subfields are International Relations and Comparative Politics, and her research interests center about politics and security in the Indo-Pacific, particularly the Korean peninsula. Current research projects focus on alignment strategies and alliance politics. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and prior to joining the Belfer Center, she was a Fulbright Junior Research Fellow in South Korea. She received her M.A. in Asian Studies from Georgetown University, and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
