David Tubbs earned his Ph.D. in the Politics Department at Princeton in 2001. From 2005 to 2023, he taught courses in constitutional law, political theory, and international affairs at The King's College in New York City. He is the author of Freedom's Orphans: Contemporary Liberalism and the Fate of American Children (Princeton University Press, 2007). His articles, essays, and reviews have appeared in publications such as the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, the Pepperdine Law Review, Academic Questions, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, First Things, Public Discourse, National Review, City Journal, and the New Criterion. From Fall 2023 to January 2026, he was Visiting Associate Professor at Princeton.
