Carissa Tudor has won the Walter Dean Burnham Award for Best Dissertation in History and Politics for 2023 from the APSA Politics and History section. Her dissertation was titled, "Whose Modernity? Revolution and the Rights of Woman" and her Dissertation Chair was Deborah Yashar. Tudor is currently a post-doc at Brown University and will start as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2023 at the University of Amsterdam.
