The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) announced that Amaney Jamal, the Edwards S. Sanford Professor of Politics and the director of the Bobst Center, is the 2019 winner of the Kuwait Prize in the field of Economics and Social Sciences. The Kuwait Prize was established in 1979 to recognize the achievements of Arab scholars and researchers around the world. Jamal joins a select group of 130 renowned scientists and scholars who have previously received this award.
