Professor, the University of Southern California School of Law 

Erin Miller's current research focuses on the freedom of speech, media, and elections. Previously, she has written on moral responsibility and constitutional constraints in criminal law, such as the due process required for imposing "collateral consequences" on criminal offenders and the standards for reviewing mitigating evidence in capital sentencing. She holds a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Yale University, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and a Ph.D. in politics (political theory) from Princeton University (as of September 2019).
