Cheryl Cosslett aims to better understand the mobilization strategies of parties and candidates, particularly in ethnically diverse contexts. She is also interested in contradictions in party positions and policy proposals, and how voters interpret and respond to perceived incoherence over time. Her research interests draw on the politics of her home country Indonesia and career as a government affairs consultant across Southeast Asia. She has published in the Asian Journal of Comparative Politics and collaborated with faculty on a variety of research projects. Cheryl earned her BA from Yale-NUS College and her MA from Columbia University.
