Angus Lam is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Politics. He is broadly interested in political behavior, political parties, and social identities and networks in new democracies and post-authoritarian regimes— particularly across Southeast and Northeast Asia. Before coming to Princeton, Angus worked as a research and analytics consultant at the World Bank, and provided programmatic and research assistance to various D.C.-based think tanks, including the Asia Society Policy Institute and Center for Strategic & International Studies. He holds a M.A. in Asian Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a B.A. with High Honors in Political Science and Sociology/Anthropology from Swarthmore College.
