Angela is a PhD student in Comparative Politics. Her research interests can be summed up as the politics of the welfare state spanning across political economy, psychology, and behavior. More specifically, she is currently working on social identity costs to taking up social benefits.
Prior to coming to Princeton, she received a MPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics and History from the University of Zurich. She has further completed advanced methods training at the Universities of Michigan and Konstanz. During her studies, she has held various research assistant and teaching positions at Oxford, Zurich, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
