
Angela is a Ph.D. student in Comparative Politics, specializing in the politics of the welfare state at the intersection of political economy, psychology, and behavior. Her research focuses on the stigmatization of welfare beneficiaries, examining both supply- and demand-side dynamics.
Before joining Princeton, she earned an MPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics and History from the University of Zurich. Throughout her studies, she has held research and teaching positions at Oxford, Zurich, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
