The Center for Career Development invites you to their upcoming Arts At Work Alumni Day event, which includes panels and career conversations led by alumni volunteers that will introduce a variety of paths available to students interested in pursuing careers in the arts and creative fields. The Arts at Work program is designed to provide Princetonians with a supportive arts and creative community and opportunities to learn about the realities of life and work in various creative fields. This is a valuable opportunity for students to glean real world information about creative careers directly from alumni, and make connections that will serve them as they contemplate life after graduation.

High Meadows Environmental Institute - Discovery Day (4/30)

The High Meadows Environmental Institute invites you to their annual Discovery Day, to be held on Wednesday, April 30, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Frick Chemistry Lab Atrium. A celebration of undergraduate and graduate environmental research at Princeton, this multidisciplinary poster show provides an opportunity for students to display and discuss their research, exchange perspectives, and identify potential solutions to society’s most pressing environmental challenges. This year, 74 students from 24 academic departments, mentored by 67 Princeton faculty, will share their work. Discovery Day is open to all members of the University community.

Internship Opportunity: The Bridging Divides Initiative

The Bridging Divides Initiative (BDI) is now hiring for 2025-26 Research Assistant (RA) Student Interns. The Bridging Divides Initiative at Princeton University is a non-partisan research initiative that tracks and mitigates political violence in the United States. BDI seeks to contribute to a future where thriving communities are prepared to respond in periods of risk, are empowered to address the long-term divides we face as a society, and are supported to build a pluralistic, multi-racial democracy. BDI is based at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), co-hosted by the Empirical Studies of Conflict (ESOC)

The Research Assistant program is a 12-month paid internship to advance strategic objectives including state-level violence mitigation, data coding and analysis, data library, de-escalation and community safety, and media & communications. Research Assistants work remotely in the United States with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Research Assistants receive hands-on training in political violence research and mitigation approaches as well as regular skill-building and professional development workshops.

Princeton Research Day is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for early career scholars and artists to share their story, passion, discovery, or innovation with a broad, public audience. Submit now to connect with peers, mentors, and the public AND to have your work considered for prizes up to $1500! All undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs are eligible to present their completed or in-progress research or creative work at Princeton Research Day. You are welcome to adapt any research or creative project you have developed, whether the work has been completed or is still in progress. All presentations meeting the presentation requirements are eligible for awards.
