Yingxin Angela Chen is a PhD student in Politics at Princeton University, specializing in International Relations. Her research lies at the intersection of international political economy and law, with a particular focus on investor-state dispute settlement.

Angela holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Chicago; an MSc in International Relations, with distinction, from the London School of Economics and Political Science; and a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she earned a Certificate of Specialization in International Law. She also received training in private international law at The Hague Academy of International Law. Before joining Princeton, she practiced as a capital markets lawyer in London.
