Kathleen A. Mitchell is a faculty assistant in the Department of Politics.               

Prior to joining Princeton University, Kathleen was the Development Manager for the non profit, Dress For Success helping women achieve economic independence.  She also has over 25 years’ experience in customer relations and retention, lifecycle marketing, strategic planning, negotiating and leadership. Kathleen is an accomplished, award-winning Regional Account Director driving success for both company and client. She excels at developing and executing marketing strategies to build loyalty and grow revenue. She develops customer lifecycle marketing plans focusing on acquisition, retention and reactivation strategies. She is tenacious, collaborative and interpersonally effective at all levels. Kathleen is the recipient of several performance and peer recognition awards, including the President’s Award, You Rock Award, and the Kraft Sales Leadership Ring Award.  She is active in several organizations, elected Chair of the Parents Association, Former Trustee for The Hun School of Princeton, and elected President of the Regional Altar Rosary Club.  She has also been involved in many New York Region Roundtable, Women’s Sales Council for New York Region, Vice President of the Chesterfield Public Education Fund and the Chesterfield PTA. Kathleen holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University.
